My xmas experience was far from perfect. The hotel room I was given seemed to be in dire need of renovation.

We stayed in a hotel that was located in the heart of the city, with many options for eating out and shopping. the staff was very friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to purchase food for us. the rooms were spacious and had updated facilities including a large bathroom with a good shower.
There was a lot of noise at night due to a bar and pool hall located on one of the upper floors.

The hotel's location in the city center is absolutely perfect for exploring the area. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and banks. the breakfast was delightful and had a wide variety of options including fresh fruit and delicious eggs. Another great aspect was the cleanliness of the room which was exceptional for local standards.
The noise was unbearable, especially during night-time when kids were running around. It was hard to sleep, even with the windows closed.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
